Minimal Change Kidney Disease Manifestations

Minimal change kidney disease is a kind of kidney disease which is commonly seen. Minimal change kidney disease can also be called lipid nephrosis. Minimal change kidney disease is a kind of kidney nephritis. Because most of patients are allergic to hormone treatment, we can also call it hormone allergic type nephrotic syndrome. Most of them are children, who are usually 1 year old to 6 years old. The summit is 2 years old. Children nephropathy is a common seen pathological type. The general treatment for this disease is to relieve the symptoms and to reduce the reaction which is caused by medicine.
The symptoms of minimal change in clinic are such as a large amount of proteinuria, edema, low protein in plasma, hyperlipemia and so on.

In most cases, it is believed to be related to the disorder of immune system and there can also be other factors. This disease develops rapidly, and the first symptom is edema. 50% of them had infection before. No matter what the age is, they mostly show symptoms of nephrotic syndrome. Especially among those with fetus minimal change, those who are suffering from nephrotic syndrome account for 63% to 93%. And in addition, those who have too low blood content can get acute renal failure.
The conventional treatment for this disease is the application of glucocorticoid, which is effective to 90% of them. Generally, 7 to 28 days after the treatment, proteinuria will disappear. However, too long time application and only this medicine can lead to the untoward reaction such as increased body weight, slow growth, high blood pressure and so on.
